As a kid, I was steadfast that I would be a Disney Imagineer when I grew up. I dreamed about how other kids (and their parents too) would get to enjoy the fantasy world that I would one-day help create. The same magical world that my family would escape to every spring break.
Spoiler alert: I never became a Disney Imagineer. And, that’s OK.
I am sure most can relate because life is full of detours that take us away from our childhood dreams. It is the lucky few, however, that have their detours take them back towards their childhood dream but in a way they never envisioned as a child.
